Alan Rivera's Bio: Was an accomplished newscaster for ten years in Peru, South America. For the past six years, he has been working with Independent News Network in Davenport, Iowa as an Executive Producer until February 2010, supervising several Spanish newscasts around the country, including Univision and Azteca America newscasts. Currently, Mr. Rivera is producing and anchoring Hispanic News Network, a Spanish newscast aired by the National Spanish Network HITN. Mr. Rivera holds a Bachelor’s degree in Humanities with a minor in Philosophy from the Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru. Also he studied Law and Political Science on Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru. He continued his studies in the Asociación Latinoamericana de Analisis Transacional to complete a degree in Conciliatory Psychology. He received a scholarship in Madrid, Spain studying in the Instituto de Radio y Television Española (IORTV) to specialize in television newcasts production.

Bryan Latham's Bio: Bryan Latham comes to INN after seven years in the business. Bryan got his start in the world of TV writing and editing sports highlights for a sports show in Toronto Ontario. The tv bug caught and before long he landed on air in East Idaho as a news reporter. Working several years as a general assignment reporter, he later was offered a chance to anchor the evening news and loved it. Bryan then moved on to the midwest as the morning live reporter and weekend anchor in Omaha. Morning came early and he later decided waking up in daylight hours was best and became a day side reporter, while anchoring the weekends. The Seattle native is excited about coming to INN and looks forward to meeting new people and making new friends. When not on air or digging up stories, Bryan can be found outdoors, skiing in the winter and doing any number of activities in the winter. When it's time to relax he is almost always following, and cringing at one of his many favorite sports teams.

Jeremy Moss's Bio: Jeremy Moss has more than 15 years of experience as a sports anchor and reporter. He has worked around the country in numerous markets, covering events ranging from the Super Bowl and World Series to high school and recreational sports. A native of Los Angeles, Jeremy received a Journalism degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and also attended Northwestern University's Journalism Cherub Program. Jeremy is a big fan of all types of sports and enjoys playing in the Men's Senior Baseball League throughout the summer. He also enjoys working out, playing golf, waterskiing, snowboarding, and just about any other sport. Jeremy also enjoys board games, such as chess. Also, Jeremy is passionate about photography, astronomy, reading, and movies. His favorite film is The Big Lebowski.

Roland Glembine's Bio: Roland brings over 15 years of experience to INN. His career began at the 1996 Olympic games working for Radio Atlanta. From there it was off to the land of TV news beginning in Roswell New Mexico. The station was just one block down the road from the International U.F.O. Museum, Roland's friends say he has not been the same since. After three years in the Cedar Rapids, IA market Roland returned to the Land of Enchantment to work for the CBS affiliate in Albuquerque. Roland was hired by INN in 2008. Moving home to the Midwest was an easy choice for the Wisconsin native and University of Iowa alum. Roland and his beautiful wife Lauree are the proud parents of two adorable children.

Phil Doherty's Bio: Phil Doherty has worked at the Independent News Network nine years as a producer, assignment editor, video editor, photographer and anchor. After studying communications and music at Millikin University in Decatur, IL, he graduated with a BA in 2002. Soon after, he was fortunate enough to be offered a producing position at INN. From there, he has worked many positions in the newsroom for most of INN's clients in a variety of markets. Phil is originally from the Quad Cities, and he is happy to live in his hometown while getting to work on newscasts and stories from around the country.

Juan Carlos Homez's Bio: Started his television career in 1996 in one of the most important television networks in South America, Venevisión. In 2002 He worked in Panama and Argentina for a British producer, Freemantle Media, known as Pearson television. Since 2004 he has been working in United States producing and anchoring local newscasts for networks as Azteca America, Univision, among others. Mr. Hómez received a Bachelor’s degree in communications with a minor in audiovisuals from the Universidad del Zulia, Maracaibo, Venezuela.

Tambrey Laine's Bio: It was during high school in Toronto, Canada that Tambrey first decided television news would be a good fit for her. She completed her first television internship back then, and was hooked. She brings more than 10 years of newsroom experience to INN. Tambrey moved to Tampa, Florida after graduation, and interned at WTOG as part of her associate’s curriculum. While pursuing a bachelor degree, she anchored and produced a newscast for WUSF. She graduated from the University of South Florida with a degree in mass communications – broadcast journalism. She started her television career at KMOT in Minot, North Dakota as a reporter and later joined the KXMC news team as co-anchor for the 6 and 10 p.m. newscasts. She was later promoted to producer of those shows, as well. Then Tambrey moved to the Quad Cities where she served as primary solo anchor at WHBF and main anchor/reporter at KWQC. Outside the newsroom, Tambrey enjoys spending time at home with her pets - a miniature pinscher, two parrots and a python. She also loves to travel and has family scattered all over the world. Her parents live in Atlantic Canada and her younger brother and his family live in Dubai. Some of her other hobbies include skiing, skating, playing piano, biking, horseback riding and generally spending time outdoors.

Mike Mickle's Bio: Mike Mickle comes to INN with more than 25 years experience in Broadcast News. During his career in the news business, Mike has been a photographer, reporter, producer, assignment editor and news anchor. Mike took his first television job at KTEN in Ada, Oklahoma while he was still in college. >From there, he moved to Fort Smith, Arkansas. Mike spent four years at KPOM in Fort Smith before moving to Davenport, Iowa. Mike spent almost 20 years at the number one television station in the Quad Cities market. During his tenure at KWQC, Mike fell in love with the Midwest. He holds awards from Oklahoma, Arkansas, Iowa and Illinois for his news reporting.

Pat Walker's Bio: Pat grew up in the small Central Arkansas town. He went to the University of Central Arkansas and graduated with a History degree in 1996. “History?” you ask. “How did he get to become a meteorologist?” Five years after college Pat enrolled in graduate school at Mississippi State University to study meteorology. Pat says, “Hey, sometimes you just gotta change what you’re doing to be happy.” Pat always loved weather and severe storms, but never thought about it as a career until he was 27 years-old. And it’s a good thing he did, for he met his best friend and now wife at graduate school. Pat began his career in 2002 at WCBI in Columbus, Mississippi. In 2003, Pat moved out to West Texas and launched the weather department at KSAN in San Angelo. In 2005, he jumped into the heart of Tornado Alley when he became the Chief Meteorologist at KSWO in Lawton, Oklahoma. Then Pat moved to the Quad Cities with his family in 2008. He enjoys the different weather the Midwest gets than that of the south, but he would like to see a little less snow. Pat loves to “Call Those Hogs” (Arkansas Razorbacks) along with cheering for the St. Louis Cardinals and the Green Bay Packers. Pat holds the Seal of Approval from the National Weather Association and is a licensed Amateur Radio Operator.

Amanda Decker's Bio: Amanda Decker decided early on that she wanted to be a journalist. But, it wasn't until she went to college and stepped into the newsroom that she was positive that's where she wanted to be. Amanda was born in Canton, Ohio and moved to Indianapolis, Indiana at a very young age. She graduated from Ball State University with degrees in broadcast journalism, journalism writing and political science. She also studied musical theatre and performed in a few musicals in college. She began her career in broadcasting at WIPB, the PBS affiliate in East Central Indiana, then became the morning and noon anchor at WCJB in Gainesville, Florida. Amanda enjoys working inside and outside the newsroom. She enjoys volunteering and giving back to her community. Outside the newsroom, Amanda especially enjoys sports. She started playing tennis and began dancing at just five years old. She is also a huge fan of college football, especially the Crimson Tide. Amanda also loves to travel. Her favorite place in the world is Sydney, Australia.

Ryan Bass's Bio: Born and raised in Miami, FL, Ryan brings his hard-working, South Florida personality to the news team. Ryan graduated from the University of Central Florida in Orlando, FL with a degree in Journalism. At UCF, he anchored his own television show, "The Sports Report" on UCFTV. During his senior year at UCF, Ryan served as a Production Assistant intern for ESPN in Bristol, CT, where he was one of two interns chosen out of 3,000 applicants. Ryan also has experience on radio, where he hosted his own sports-talk radio show for four years in college on WKNT and was a staff writer for UCF's student newspaper, the Central Florida Future. When not on the air, Ryan enjoys watching his favorite sports teams play, cooking, facebooking, and attempting to play sports (although he isn't very good at them).

Dan Bronis's Bio: Dan Comes to us from the sunny state of Arizona. While he originally is from Chicago, IL home will always be Arizona since he moved there in 1999. He also spent some time as a child in Salt Lake City, UT before he moved to the Phoenix Area. Dan began his passion in weather back in his senior year of high school when he then decided to attend Arizona State University in Tempe, AZ (a suburb of Phoenix). He graduated College in 2009 with a Bachelors degree in Meteorology/Climatology. After school Dan got an internship at KPNX in Phoenix as the weather intern and from there he landed his first job in Sioux Falls, SD as a weekend Meteorologist at KDLT. After a year at KDLT he wanted to expand his career and got a job at INN as a Meteorologist in November of 2011. In his spare time, Dan loves the outdoors. He has family that lives in northern Minnesota and loves to fish up there in what he calls "the best fishing in the country." He also loves to hike, bike and relax outdoors during summer. In the winter months, since he comes from the west, he loves to ski. Although not the best in world he does not mind a black diamond or two when feeling gutsy. Dan will never pass down a vacation, in his spare time he loves to travel from it being day trips to week long trips Dan will find a way to escape. Dan looks forward to spending time here and looks forward to the experience that Independent News will give him.
